Pricey rooms that lacked consideration for seniors...lack of lighting and a mini refrigerator and coffee.. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great with lots of hot water.

I was a little worried by the other reviews that mentioned problems like crazy temperatures and dirty rooms, but I didn't experience any of those. The room was fine, the location speaks for itself, and the staff - especially Hanniel at the front desk - were fantastically friendly and helpful. Really my only issue was with the other guests. Maybe it's just because of the location, but I guess this is the "party hotel" because the other guests were LOUD. Even on weeknights the noise didn't really calm down until 4am... and then starting at about 7am each morning there were kids running up and down the hallway. So if you're a light sleeper then this might not be the place for you. Otherwise I have no complaints and would recommend staying here if you want to be close to the action in Manhattan.
