Decent but definitely not up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. We stayed for 9 nights in August and overall enjoyed our stay except for little things : - Upon arrival, we realized that the bathroom door was not closing properly, we requested a change of room, but they said it was not possible and sent maintenance to fix it right away, so we had to watch them fix the door as we were waiting to settle in. - Even though we were three guests, we repeatedly got only two water bottles a day, and there were also only two bathrobes. But they for sure didn't forget that we were 3 when they charged us an extra $400 of fees and taxes upon arrival... - The noise in the building is also a problem. I'm not talking about the noise outside, which is decent given the location the hotel is in, but we could hear everyone in the hallway, including the elevator, and when in the bathroom, we could very distinctly hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us. Likewise, the AC is barely usable when you are in the room because it is so noisy. - The rooms are generally clean if you don't really look too hard... So it was overall an ok stay but I don't think I will ever come back or recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Edison is in a great spot if you enjoy being in the heart of the Times Square buzz – some people love it, some don't, but the location is undeniably convenient. The rooms are decent for the price, and breakfast was solid too, no complaints there. However, the parking situation was a complete nightmare. I left my car for 2 days and returned 20 minutes over, and they charged me an extra $50, claiming it counted as a whole day! It's ridiculous that this garage, with zero effort put into it, can charge $50 like that. While it's fair to mention the parking isn't run by the hotel, they do partner with them, so it’s part of the overall experience – and it left a really bad taste. The hotel itself is fine, but beware of the parking situation if you’re driving.
