I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Front Desk Receptionist for her exceptional service. She embodies beauty, patience, and genuine care. Despite facing challenges, she effortlessly secured a table for me at a restaurant and even sought assistance from her manager to ensure my comfort. Melissa, the receptionist, deserves special recognition for her outstanding efforts. Furthermore, I was fortunate to have my room cleaned by Trina, a wonderful housekeeper with a warm soul. Her attention to detail and kind demeanor made my stay incredibly pleasant. Melissa's dedication to her job, along with her manager's support, resulted in a delightful surprise room upgrade. Their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout my experience. Overall, the entire staff's exceptional service guarantees my return to this establishment. Many thanks to these remarkable women for their outstanding hospitality!

Nice room with a great location well located for most attractions, recommended.

Cannot fault this beautiful, historic hotel. Superb location, great comfortable room, super service from staff. Only negatives would be that our heating didn't work for a couple of nights at one of the coldest times of the year! But it was sorted really quickly, once we reported it. Another thing to warn travellers about would be if you get a yellow taxi from outside the building, the doorman kindly carries your luggage to the next available cab in line, but does not check/ has no idea if the cab is legit/legal. Sadly, we went off in a cab that was not legal, and ended up paying way over the usual cost to get to the airport, whilst the driver was constantly on calls on his mobile, dangerously driving all over the place, at speed. Not the best end to an otherwise fantastic stay in NYC.
