Established in 1931, Hotel Edison is woven into the fabric of NYC and is a long-standing favorite among celebrities, musicians, and professional athletes. Our enduring legacy is a testament to our historic charm and timeless hospitality. But don't take our word for it. Explore real reviews from guests who share their experiences.
Staying at Hotel Edison was just alright. We stayed in a king room. The room decor was outdated and soulless, the bathroom was tiny, the hallways were a bit dingy, the view was not great in our room (to be fair we did not pay for a room with a view), and the lobby was chaotic. There was no "welcoming" kind of feeling about checking in at the hotel or arriving at the room. However, the fact that Friedman's is right downstairs totally redeemed the experience (top notch restaurant)! It's also a great location if you're traveling just for the night and staying in the city to see a Broadway show.

Clean. Very well situated. Room a bit worn down. Staff friendly but sometimes felt weird. Like forced. Super noisy ac. Like omg. You can tell by the clients that this is a cheaper hotel.
