A great hotel in times square with an old New York aura of a time long gone with 21 century updates.

Overall the hotel is pretty decent. The bed isn't nearly as comfortable as I would have hoped. The biggest frustration is that this hotel looks to nickel and dime you to death throughout your entire stay. Sure, the room price isn't bad, but you have to pay for an extra dinner at the hotel. Plus you have to pay if you want breakfast. Plus if you want good Wi-Fi it's an extra $5 a day. And don't forget that if you want the complimentary a bottle of water, it's not complimentary, it's $3. This is why I usually stay at a Marriott, where you get all of these features and you don't have to pay extra for them. While the room was fine, all of these extra charges have inspired me to not stay at a Hilton next time.

Omg we love staying here! This is our go to hotel every time we stay in the city. The location is genius. Close to all the shows and subway stops and a nice walk to Central Park. This is such a classic beautiful hotel that is beautifully kept up to maintain its integrity. We appreciate the comfortable beds and quiet rooms & workout room! We are in love with the Friedman’s restaurant attached with the best diner coffee ever and delicious breakfasts! Try the cheese blintzes & french toast & granola TDF and very kind wait staff. Also love the amazing staff at the hotel! Shout outs to Scott & Danny and Marcos.
