I had a wonderful ...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my visit to Manhattan. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Times Square with easy access to the subway, bus routes, and hop-on hop-off tourist buses. It made getting around the city fast and convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, and the staff were mostly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, with only one minor issue that didn’t affect my overall experience. The room was spotless, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. I especially liked the "on-the-go" food option included in the stay—it’s a great idea for tourists heading out early to explore the city. Overall, the hotel offers great value for the location and amenities. I’m already planning to stay here again on my next trip to New York! While my overall experience at the hotel was positive and would definitely recommend, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some parts of the hotel, particularly the rooms, were dimly lit and would benefit from better lighting. Additionally, I observed unprofessional behavior from three female staff members working in the "on-the-go" food area. They were openly making negative comments about tourists—stating that if people want things for free, they shouldn’t be traveling. These remarks were made loudly and in the presence of other guests, which I found inappropriate and inconsistent with the standards expected in the hospitality industry. Moreover, the staff member serving coffee came across as unfriendly, did not smile, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. Hospitality roles require warmth and professionalism, especially when interacting with international travelers who may already be navigating a new environment. I hope the hotel considers additional training in customer service to ensure a more welcoming and respectful experience for all guests.

I recently stayed at Hotel Edison in NYC, and I was thoroughly impressed—especially by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. From the moment I checked in, the service was superb. Everyone I interacted with—from the front desk to housekeeping—went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself has that classic New York charm, with an Art Deco vibe and an unbeatable location just steps from Times Square. But what truly made the experience memorable was the warmth and professionalism of the team. It’s rare to find service that feels both genuine and polished, and Hotel Edison absolutely nailed it. If you’re visiting New York and want a hotel where the staff truly care about your experience, I highly recommend Hotel Edison.
