I have stayed at the Edison many times because of its location, I enjoy being in the heart of Times Square. Granted some of the rooms areolder but it is going thru renovations, so be patient. This stay we were on the 17th floor in a totally rehabbed room, it was very well done, boutique style. Great staff, love the Rum House, convenience. I will go back there anytime I can.

We stayed here between 2nd of Feb and the 7th. We stayed in the one of the newly refurbished rooms and i have to say it was fantastic, room was excellent, staff were excellent and hotel situated 30secs from times square. A few things i would suggest the doors to the room do bang quiet loud. So maybe putting something on to slow them down and allow them to close quietly would be a bonus, Also the next rooms wash taps are on the wall to your room and you will hear these every time they are turned on but some sound proofing would work wonders. But all in all i would recommend this hotel as we had an excellent time, and a shout out to Kara (i hope thats your name) she spoke to me over facebook and was fantastic for getting us a great room!

When I checked in on Tuesday flight had been delayed so we were really tired. The check in went smoothly and we were given our room. There were problems with this room so given another, this one was not cleaned very well so we were allocated another. Happy with the third room we went out to eat. On our return the air con had been leaking and floor was wet. It was late at night by this time. The manager allocated us our 4th room. I have to say the staff were very helpful and most apologetic , we were given vouchers for pizzas and breakfasts( we didn't use them) I have stayed at Edison for the past few years and will do so again. Staff are so helpful and friendly. There is an issue getting an elevator quite often in the mornings but that is probably to be expected at such a busy hotel with only 4 out of the 6 working. I will stay here again because I can confidently say the staff will sort out any problems. One of the most helpful people was Jose who works security, but I cannot fault the attitude of any member of the staff, all of them are professional and helpful.
