Went there last year and thought it was great value for money considering it's right on Times Square and the room was absolutely fine - don't get why it'd have such bad reviews! Only down side was the room was a little draughty at the window (but we did go at one of the coldest times of the year) and that there wasn't free wifi (had to be paid for). Actual hotel though had lovely decor and pleasant staff

Our stay here was awesome! Close to everything and the staff was great from beginning to end! DeMarcus from guest relations was the nicest guy! He personally came to our room and brought gift bags filled with several bottles of wine, a cute Teddy-bear with the hotel logo on it along with cookies, nuts, candies and a hand written note for my sisters 50th birthday! The rooms were big for New York standards but were dated. Most importantly they were clean. I would recommend staying here and next time in NYC this is where I will be staying!
