We stayed at the Edison last week. We asked in advance about getting a room higher up (just to avoid traffic noise) and were delighted to have been given an upgraded room. The decor in the place is outstanding, very art deco. The staff are amazingly friendly and will go over and above to make sure you're happy. The hotel cafe Friedmans is great. The food there at breakfast is amazing. The rooms are well appointed by NYC standards of size and quality. We loved our stay and won't hesitate to stay here when we come back to NYC which we will!

Staying here as I type this. We were welcomed curbside by Gio, a very nice gentleman, our room was upgraded to a beautiful suite without even asking & our view is great! We've stayed here before & will stay here again. Hotel Edison is in a prime location near fantastic restaurants & many shops.
