We made a mistake ...

We made a mistake in booking and did not arrive until the second day of our reservation. Instead of getting an email or phone call, the reservation disappeared. The front desk person called over a manager who told us there was an issue with our credit card and that the room was cancelled as a result. Because we have been using the same card with no issues we know that was not the problem. After explaining again we were supposed to check in the day before we basically had to beg them to give us a room. The manager seemed very annoyed with us. And he did not ask for a credit card to rebook. Curious since he said it was declined. We were told the room we were given was upgraded but I would hate to see what a standard room looked like. The whole gen Z Only sleep with a duvet cover is not hotel appropriate. So grossed out. At checkout, the reservation has us listed from a different country and I'm confused and concerned after giving them our driver's license from the USA. Did not appreciate being gaslit when we told them we were wrong and asking for help. Would stay anywhere else instead.

I stayed at this ...

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights . The location is perfect .It is in the middle of Times Sguare, walking distance to most attractions however the rooms are basic and the breakfast was just awful.

So many pros and ...

So many pros and cons. We were told we were getting an upgraded room...no coffee maker or kettle, the tv didn't work, and when we woke up to a cockroach in our bed, we found out our phone didn't work. We called to the front desk through a phone in the hallway and they never came so we had to go downstairs to get service and a better room. We did get a better room with working tv and phone, we had a coffee maker as well. When we got there and mentioned we were 4, they gave us coupons for all 4 of us for our 3 mornings. The breakfast was delicious at Bond 45, located in the hotel. The location itself was great to be close to Times Square. And because of the 'roach incident we weren't charged for our amenities. Overall, comfy beds and great breakfast. Just don't leave your suitcase on the floor...
