Very good location, right ...

Very good location, right on Times Square one minute walk from the Broadway box office, so you can show up there at 11 AM and buy cheap tickets on sale early in the morning for the evening. The rooms are OK, the location is the best thing in this hotel. The staff was nice. The free breakfast they advertised when you book the room is actually if you take a breakfast in a box with you. If you sit down to eat, it will cost you five dollars, very narrow menu option. The dining room is functioning as a full on restaurant that serves people breakfast lunch and dinner for a restaurant price. But even though prices of the menu is not cheap for the guests, the food looks great.

Beautifully restored Art Deco ...

Beautifully restored Art Deco hotel. Great location!! Rooms are okay....small but clean. Ours backed up to the elevator bank and we could hear the cables on the other side of the wall. Unless you really need a king sized bed, I suggest you ask for two queens...the queen rooms are larger and have a bigger closet. (Our closet has about 12inches of unobstructed hanging space). Both restaurants onsite are great. Bond 45 has excellent service and delicious food for lunch or dinner. Pizzas are large enough to share. Meanwhile they have a fabulous Italian entre menu, steaks and fish. Our room included a breakfast voucher. For about $6 you have your choice of four breakfast items. Alternatively, you can order off the regular menu. I ordered the two eggs, hash browns, coffee and toast and thought the $6 was a bargain. Also they have a romantic cozy bar featuring rum drinks. I would come back here again and ask for a room with 2 queen beds.
