We had a fantastic 4-day, 3-night stay at Hotel Edison in Times Square. The hotel has a great historic charm while still feeling very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly easy to explore New York City. Whether walking to shows, restaurants, or major attractions, everything felt just steps away. The staff really made the experience stand out. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, and a special thank you to Latoya at the front desk—she was especially welcoming, professional, and went out of her way to assist us. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and easy, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great New York experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

Overall the rooms were clean, but we ended up in an older room which was updated a bit, everything felt so dark and gloomy Was good for just a place to sleep, but did not want to spend a lot of time in there. My sisters ended up on the higher floors with more updated furnishings. We stayed for 4 nights, and housekeeping only came once despite leaving the sign out before leaving for the day. The staff at the front were very nice. Unfortunately they could not locate me near my sister’s rooms. They were on the 22nd floor, and we were placed on the 5th. We booked at the same time, for the same price, but my sister got a bottle of wine and chocolates in her room. Loved the options for free breakfast, there are sit down options for an additional fee, or free grab and go breakfast at the restaurants nearby. Carve was by far the better free option. I would recommend people to stay here if they plan to just be out and about all day, lots of places were walking distance. It was very dark and secluded if you do not get a room with a view.
