Hotel Edison was a ...

Hotel Edison was a great find! I did a thorough search of hotels for an overnight getaway to see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Usually we stay at Hilton hotels everywhere we go, but for the price and great reviews, Hotel Edison stole the show! The hotel was very safe in that there was a doorman at the entrance and hotel security in the lobby serving as gatekeepers to the elevators. You must show your room key to pass security clearance. Once inside the elevator, your activated key card is needed to initiate the lift. Rooms were tidy and clean. Adequate space, heating in the room was comfortable in January. The bathroom was clean, slightly small, but fully stocked with towels, wash cloths, and soap bottles attached to the shower wall. 2 complimentary bottles of water included, Starbucks coffee pods, and hot tea bags. A safe for valuables, an iron, ironing board, & hairdryer all available to use. Upon check-in, you receive a voucher to redeem in 1 of 3 eateries for breakfast or lunch. Two are accessible through the hotel lobby area and offer a bargain breakfast! Both are sit-down places. The third is a grab and go option which is short walk to the end of the street block, and is a free breakfast or lunch on a set menu. We did not get to go to the Rum House, also through the lobby, for cocktails and live jazz since our visit to NYC was so short, but we will check it out on our next stay. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Edison.

The hotel was very ...

The hotel was very clean, the workers VERY VERY kind and all the staff is amazing in general. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds super comfy. The food in Bond 45 and the hotel restaurant was really nice, and you can have breakfast at Carve for free (well, if it is included in what you bought). *Btw, if you want to have breakfast on Carve, you should go early (before 8 o’clock) Aside of that, the only problem was a noise that was somewhat noticeable at night, but then the staff noticed and they very quickly and kindly offered to change rooms the same day, so it got fixed, and our new room had better views too! So, overall, very happy with the experience.
