Comfortable hotel in a great location. Nice beds and everything was clean and well maintained. Got a great deal on a room for a few nights, and even included a to-go breakfast at the attached restaurant. Will definitely look into this place on future trips to NY. Only knock that prevented me from giving it perfect marks is that the AC unit in our room sounded like it was full of gravel sometimes and there was some other building noise. Nothing a pair of earplugs wont fix, and otherwise a great option in Manhattan.

I was at The Rum House, which is located within this particular establishment. I can not rate the Hotel itself, because I did not stay there. Nor did I enter into it.. I went straight from the street in to the rum house to have a mocktail and listen to live music.

I love this hotel I visited twice this year just come back being in hospitality myself I found the older male desk staff are rude one shouting at the queue to get back to the line and wait it was NY marathon day I get that the guy kept talking over me and seemed very stressed out my room was changed and it had been booked since march In march again a similar experiences I arrived and was told I needed pay 280 dollies it's a while since I'd been so I simply asked why ? I was told if you don't pay it am not giving you your room key by the male desk clerk I only asked what it was for at that point I wanted just come home first impressions are massive to me I still came back in November as I love the hotel so much for it's location ,Friedman's ,maid service, door men are lovely I work for big US company here in the UK I have to address people sir or madam so I guess the hostile reception just didn't sit well lovely hotel
