Location is great, right in Times Square. I recommend to get the superior room, king bed, more space typically not that much more. They have a relationship with the parking garage across the street, that allows for a discount rate ($55 vs $75). Walk to theatre, MOMA, restaurants, bars.

With the recent renovations, the rooms have been refreshed and modernized. Just make sure to get a Signature room, there are still a few not updated yet. The staff here is great, and location is central to everything, especially for first timers! Right off the high energy of Times Square. Friedman's restaurant is great for all day dining, and has great options for those needing Gluten Free meals. We loved the throwback to the 20's design and murals in the entrance and lobby as well.
