Came here for my ...

Came here for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary. We were excited to hear we got upgraded to a king bed. However, regardless of this the room was a shoe box. The view was of back alleys. The lobby was constantly crowded and overwhelming. Our room did not have body wash and conditioner. The AC was very loud. The room literally consisted of bare necessities such as a bed, desk and chair. That was it. No coffee machine, no fridge, no microwave, one nightstand on one side and no extra sofa. The tv was very small. The employees, such as Marcos, were extremely nice and gave us chocolate, red wine, and potato chips. The red wine was absolutely atrocious, but we still appreciate the gesture. The breakfast was pretty decent with the option to sit down for 6.50 at Freidman’s or Bond 45 or get something to grab and go for free. The location was pretty nice, but there are definitely better options in Times Square. Last time we were in NYC we stayed at the Millennium and it was very enjoyable. Not sure if I would recommend here for the price, but if you just need a place to sleep and shower it serves its purpose.
