Read & Write Reviews for Hotel Edison in the Heart of Times Square

We’ve just got home after our second 5 night stay in Hotel Edison and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Sam on the check in desk was so polite and helpful when we arrived and during the course of our stay all of the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in Times Square. The rooms are what I would describe as basic but comfortable, but as you only really need somewhere to put your head on a night it doesn’t really matter. If you get a room on one of the lower floors you have a constant hum from outside your window from the hotels vents but that kind of drowns out the constant noise of Times Square so it isn’t that bad. The bathrooms are very tired and dated but that is really the only fault I can find. We had a very bad experience with the transportation desk, but as I understand it they are not linked to the hotel so I can’t lower the star rating for that, but I would advise that you look at other options for booking trips/excursions as the after care from that desk was shocking and one of our party was branded a liar by the manager twice

Hotel was fab, hotel staff are so friendly and on the whole helpful. Location is excellent and you are right in the heart of the city. It’s our second time at this hotel. If you can, try to get an upper floor room as they are a little quieter
