Great hotel, questionable pricing ...

Great hotel, questionable pricing practices The grab-and-go breakfast was a nice touch, the room was a decent size by Manhattan standards, and the hotel was extremely clean, felt very safe, and was literally steps from Times Square. Two major subway lines are nearby as well — the N/Q/R is very close, and the 1/2/3 is only a couple of blocks away. That said, there were two things I really didn’t understand. First, a room rate should be a room rate. The additional $40/day facility fee felt excessive and unnecessary. Second, we arrived just 50 minutes before the standard check-in time. Our rooms were ready, yet we were still charged a $50 early check-in fee. Thankfully, they waived it for one room, but we still had to pay for the second. The room was already ready — it’s not as though it was going to be rented to someone else for those extra 50 minutes. Overall, this is a great hotel, but these pricing practices definitely soured the experience.

Nice location, rooms look ...

Nice location, rooms look and felt dated. Staff seems impatient and need to smile. Overall experience from the counter sub average.
